What happens if I change my policy before its anniversary date?
An insurance policy normally has a duration of one year (or even two years for Santé OptiSoins health insurance policies). However, in the case of non-life insurance, changing it during the course of the year is quite feasible (change the cover or the insured risk, for example).
In the case of life insurance, only the beneficiary may be modified by a written request from the policyholder(s).
